2 Day Pre-Convention Tours: Sunday, July 7th - Monday, July 8th

Leaving the Marriott Convention Headquarters at 8:00 am Sunday & returning at 5:30 pm Monday.

Option 1: Northeast Tour
Experience the latest in dairy technologies and genetics at Kuehnert Dairy Farm, Brand Dairy Farm, Maplebranch Farm, Oneeda Holsteins, Darita Holsteins and Nor-Bert Farms. Enjoy the classic cars at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum and the world renowned Amish Heritage with an overnight stay at the Essenhaus Inn. Tour the Deutsch Kase Haus-Cheese Factory, Yoder Popcorn Farm, and K-Z Sportsman RV Factory.

Option 2: Northwest Tour
Experience the diversity of Indiana dairying by visiting Bos Dairy Farm, Calf Land, Fair Oaks Farms, Springbrook Farms and Carterly Farm. Tour Lucas Oil Stadium and Elanco headquarters. Enjoy an overnight stay at the Holiday Inn and see first hand the Benton Co. Wind Farms.



Sunday, July 7th

Post Road Recreation Center
Enjoy five acres of fun and catching up with old friends. The Recreation Center is well known for its amazing Indoor Go Kart Oval Slick Track and newest attraction, the Kamikazi Zipline. Other attractions include Haunted Lazer Tag, 40-game arcade, 18-hole mini golf, Outdoor Family Street Track and the Fast Karts on the Outdoor Fast Track. Youth will dine on a buffet of classic street foods including pizza, hot wings, BBQ wings, shrimp, chicken strips, jalapeno poppers, mozzarella sticks and soft drinks.

The 18-hole “Brickyard Crossing” course features 6,994 yards of golf and includes a four-hole stretch inside the legendary, century-old Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Host Day Tour: Indy Experience – Adult & Junior Event
Join us for the ultimate Indy racing experience and see first hand where that famous gulp of milk takes place! The Indy Experience will be based at the newest interactive facility, the Dallara IndyCar Factory. You will tour the factory and view the IndyCars being assembled. Don’t miss your opportunity to ride a race simulator or try the pit stop challenges at the interactive zone! No Indy Experience is complete without a visit to the real deal…the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, track tour and a stop at the Hall of Fame Museum.
6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m Indy Social Night/Family Event, located at the Indiana Convention Center (Buffet)
Adults & youth are invited to kick back, relax and enjoy an evening with cows, cars and Wildheart, an entertaining country band. There will be excellent food and drinks and Hoosier hospitality. This will take place in the Indiana Convention Center right alongside the National Sale cattle.



Wednesday, July 10th

View cattle at Bos Dairy Farm, home of Bossir Holsteins, drive thru Calf Land, and explore Fair Oaks Farms, where you can enjoy touring the Cheese Factory, Birthing Barn and Fair Oaks Dairy Adventure Center.

Join us for an afternoon of great food, fun and fabulous live entertainment at the Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre. Featuring the show “Smoke on the Mountain,” Bluegrass gospel has never been so funny! The Great Depression is ending and the Sanders Family is back on the road, pickin’, grinnin’ & singin’.

The pre-sale meal will be located at the Indiana Convention Center, directly across the street from Marriott Convention Headquarters. An enclosed pedestrian walkway connects the two facilities. Dine on a beef pot roast and chicken buffet.
7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Junior Mixer @ Splash Island Water Park (Pizza)
The tropical-themed park includes three waterslides, an interactive play area for all ages with kiddie slides, water jets, ropes and guns, a gentle winding river, lily pad crossing, two pulsating vortexes, and water basketball court on over four acres. The park also includes a six lane competition pool with an attached diving well featuring two 1-meter springboards

A little nervous to paint? Don’t be! No talent or experience is necessary. Our talented instructors will guide you step-by-step through recreating the featured painting. Be amazed at your very own work of art, which you’ll take home at the end of the event! We will provide you with an 11 X 14 gallery-wrapped canvas, an apron to keep your clothes clean, easels, brushes, paints, and of course cookies and milk!

Marine Corporal Josh Bleill and native of Indiana will serve as the guest speaker. While serving in Iraq, Corporal Bleill was severely injured, resulting in the loss of both of his legs. After extensive rehabilitation, Bleill has tackled his new life head-on and now serves as the Indianapolis Colts Community Spokesperson.

5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Adult Banquet
Join fellow Holstein breeders as we close out Convention in style with a social and banquet meal of pork or beef, followed by the presentation of Holstein Association USA’s Distinguished Young Holstein Breeder, Elite Breeder and Distinguished Leadership awards.
6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Junior Talent Show & Farewell Dance, located at the Marriott
Youth will get to demonstrate their abilities at a Convention talent show. Monetary prizes will be awarded, followed by a farewell dance. Snacks will be served.
